CCC Statement on Initiative #283 Repeal Constitutional Right to Abortion

The Colorado Catholic Conference, as the united voice of the Catholic bishops of Colorado, encourages individual parishes to determine their own participation in the signature collection efforts by Colorado Life Initiative for the initiative #283. The Conference recognizes the diversity of parish contexts across Colorado and trusts pastors and lay leaders to discern how best to support this effort in fidelity to Catholic teaching on the sanctity of human life.
